Grade 9 immunizations will be happening on February 6, this year. These are the regular Meningococcal Quadrivalent Conjugate & Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) immunizations, NOT COVID-19.
Families can now check their child’s immunization records and give consent for immunizations online by logging into immunizationconsent.gov.bc.ca/s/. For more information about these immunizations, please go to Vaccines / HealthLink BC.
Hard copies of the consent forms will be sent home later this week for those who don’t want to use the online system. If you prefer the hard copy option, please have your child bring the signed consent form to school on February 6, and hand it directly to the health nurse at the time of immunization The office no loner collects these forms.
Nurses will return on February 26, and again on March 30, to immunize any grade 9 to 12 student who is missing some or all of their immunizations.
